Deion Sanders has started a hashtag called #HOP, which stands for “Hold On Playa!”  It’s used as a tool to let others know that they are doing something off-key.  Here are a few randomly selected examples that were re-Tweeted by Primetime himself:

Deion has even created a special website for these, holdonplaya.com.  So ok, we get it, it can be funny to hit someone with a #HOP when they are doing something wacky.  However, some of Deion’s re-Tweeted #HOPs seem a bit lame and insincere.  If people with real problems sent their #HOPs, they might go a little something like this:

WEEK OF MARCH 16 - MARCH 12 (2011)

This week in NFL Tweets, we find out that Mark Schlereth has chile, and that Mark Schlereth’s chile is green, AND that Mark Schlereth’s green chile stinks.  To prove it, here are the Tweets:

Here, Mark smothers his chile on some tamales, and it looks heart-attack delicious.

This poor soul tries Mark’s chile for the first time and lives to Tweet about it.

Then, Mark decides to slash his chile as well as give some of it out to unsuspecting Marilyn Anne.

Next, some Schlereth Faithful decide to revolt against Mark for his chile tyranny, but it seems to leave Mark unfazed.

But alas, the Faithful come back and request that Mark place his stinkin’ chile on their grilled cheese.
